Expectations for April 28/29 in the computer lab:

A. Log-in under "Student" instead of your regular user-name
Password: 'dog8hmwk'

B. Create a folder on the desktop with your name on it.

C. On your wiki page (or in the desktop folder for larger files):
(1) final interview, following our guidelines, of 30+/- questions
(2) all of "big picture" pictures/film clips you may use in the movie (connecting your interview to the broader theme in USH) Again, be sure that you're copying the basic sources too! The webpages' urls are adequate.

D. Begin to focus in on your movie's theme: what will your specific digital story be about? Begin to write your script, which for a 5-8 minute is about 2-3 pages single-spaced.

E. As you're working, discuss with me (a) interview date and concerns, (b) preliminary movie theme (c) other concerns.

Two other useful sites:

(1) To get sound off youtube videos: http://www.video2mp3.net/ : This will download the soundtrack as an mp3 in iTunes. Drag the file into your desktop folder.

(2) For random old-time open-access film footage (tons of it), go to http://www.archive.org/details/prelinger

Mr. Delaney

*Jay and Ian: I moved your interview to the other wiki (delaneyushistory2.wikispaces.com), team 7.
